I would like to thank Martha Stewart.

I have heard that some people have criticized her for promoting, projecting "an unatainable ideal."

For this I would like to thank her.

Its a good thing.

Marnee,

Yes! Thank you for posting that quote.

It made me think of this:

"The Face Without Pain Or Fear Or Guilt"

I hate that this country has become the kind of hell that can do what it does to the innocent, and allow what it does to the guilty.

Does everyone know the quote in Martha's high school yearbook?

"I do what I please, and I do it with ease."

My source didnt cover her entire statement.  Here it is as related by TIA Daily, quoted from the Washignton Post (same idea though):

I will be back. Whatever I have to do in the next few months, I hope the months go by quickly. I'm used to all kinds of hard work, as you know, and I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid whatsoever.

I'm just very, very sorry that it's come to this, that a small personal matter has been able to be blown out of all proportion, and with such venom and such gore.
