Happy Now, Peikoff?
Although this story was all over the net, I was hard put to find a reputable source. I wonder if the proceedings were taped. While his remarks were certainly ludicrous, it would be hard to try him on treason - you'd have to indict about 20% of the country.
What nutball group of atheists would want to have this wannabe killer speak to them?
Have they not heard:
"Slay them wherever you find them...Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme." (Surah 2:190-)
"Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it." (Surah 2:216)
"Believers, do not make friends with any but your own people...They desire nothing but your ruin...."(Surah 3:118, 119)
"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:103-)
"Make war on them until idolatry shall cease and God's religion shall reign supreme." (Surah 8:36-)
"...make war on the leaders of unbelief...Make war on them: God will chastise them at your hands and humble them. He will grant you victory over them..." (Surah 9:12-)
"Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home." (Surah 9:73)
"Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them." (Surah 9:121-)
"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." (Surah 48:29)
Again we see the deathwish of the radical left embracing their would be killers for nothing more than short term emotional gratification.
It is also for this reason that I abhor the idea (sorry, Luke - I do at least trust you) of organizing under or championing the cause of atheism. Objectivists are for reason, and if the Buddha in fact rode down from the clouds next Wednesday and started kissing newborn babies who then started speaking and telling us the intimate details of their past incarnations - like where Jimmy Hoffa is buried - from a first person perspective - I would hope Objectivists might be perhaps skeptical, but open to the evidence. Objectivists are the enemies of faith, not God. This supposed atheist group is apparently just a group of surly dolts with an authority-complex who are not anti-faith with it's 9-11 conspiracies. Talk about the after effects of the Summer of Love!
As for seating m^slims in Congress, I do not think that swearing to uphold the constitution on a book which says that jihad and sharia are not optional makes too much sense.
And of course, Ellison can always be expelled from Congress by a majority vote, but not so long as people follow Peikoff's dicta and vote strait Dem tickets.
It won't happen until after the next 9-11, but people have to realize that whatever their ceremonies entail, isl^m (you know - it means submission in Arabic) is a criminal anti-Constitutional enemy conspiracy, and should be treated as such. I'd love to hear from any jihad-abjuring sharia-rejecting members of the first reformed mosque who can offer me a peaceful alternative.
