What's real disturbing about this quote is that it's associated with a talk that Obama had with republican members of Congress. A member of Congress, I believe it was Representative Eric Cantor (R-VA), was on Rush Limbaugh talking about how Obama shot down his proposals for a rational stimulus plan. Apparently, Obama told Cantor that he differed in:
philosophy
and he interrupted Cantor's presentation/argumentation and told him:

I'm going to trump you
Now, on the chance that this really happened, for a guy who claims that philosophy/ideology is bad -- and that we need more idealism and practicality (I know, I know how this sounds!) -- for a guy who claims that folks are hung up on philosophy/ideology, he's really just covering up for his own agenda; for his own philosophy/ideology.

One of the things I've heard said is that Obama has a "Make Work Pay" agenda. Now that's Marxism, plain and simple, but I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate us so truthfully calling it what it is.

Why do I call them when I see them? I knew that Obama in general spoke in the manner of a con-man. Maybe it's the bad company I've had when I was younger, or maybe I'm just observant, but if you dig through what he's said in the past, he'll state one thing to one set of people then state the direct opposite to another set. He's like the human equivalent of a chameleon; always changing with his political/social surroundings. The funnier thing is that there's another like him and she's in charge of the House: Nancy Pelosi. How much does anyone want to bet that these two will be "good friends" right up until either one figures out a way to bump off the other's political career?

Just food for thought in regards to the morally depraved that are 'running' the nation (yeah, more like running it into the ground!).

Another thing that's awfully disturbing is that Obama says that the American people need government to "do their business" and that they "expect (government) action."

I don't (and I'm an American).
