Our problem is that they didn't stop when they ran out of money - they just started taxing more. They didn't stop when they sensed the approaching limits to taxation - they just borrowed more. They don't appear to be concerned with running out of lenders - they just print more. The problem is that's the end - there is no more.
And the problem with Socialists is that they don't care. It isn't the money they want, it is the end of freedom and they have to crash all economic life to get to there - and there is still more they haven't destroyed.
