As to the quote posted, I've decided I'm looking at this collectivist nonsense in a different perspective. All the talk is about "spreading the wealth" and whatnot. All the healthcare debate revolves around taking someone's money, which they earned by investing part of their life in something, and giving it to someone else to prolong their life. The victim doesn't get that life investment back. The beneficiary receives the fruits of a life that isn't there own. We aren't discussing the morality of "spreading the wealth". We're discussing the morality of spreading the death.
