Apparently the original text reverted to the public domain in 1993, fifty years after the original publication. The 1993 text Edited by Stephen Cox refers only to a 1993 copyright in his name of newly added material. The pdf at Mises is of the 1943 text.

Its a good book. Definitely worth reading again. Will take a while to fully analyze and absorb some of the principles described. She seems a little off base with linking some concepts to Christianity, but the operative principles she says were derived from Christianity are present in Objectivism so its rather easy to substitute without mangling her argument. Her thinking seems correct in asserting that certain correct concepts of individuality were developed from Christian doctrine, she just doesn't make the jump to objective validation of those principles.

I need to study the work more throughly, but I have a gut feeling that I will mentally file this work as important alongside with most of Rand's work. Some of the stuff in there is pretty revolutionary for me.
