| | Merlin, technically you may be right, but as I read it, that is covered in the introducing sentence where he says, "There is one simple truth..."
Anyway, I didn't post it as an economic or political truth since it is too elementary for this forum. I posted it because it is a good rhetorical approach for hoisting the progressives by their own petards. So much of their policy advocacy is either pro-job or pro-jobless-benefits or anti-wealthy or anti-business that this becomes a powerful tool for rebutting. It sickens me to see them getting away with such poor arguments.
(And the same is true of the contradiction between their crocodile tears for the "deficit-producing" tax reductions that are actually only keeping the taxes the same and the claims they need to spend more (deficits) to stimulate the economy.)
