| | Of course, clear thinking reveals the socialists/fascists to be hypocrites. They want to appear to be for lower taxes, but not to actually be so.
An example is the clever, rachet-effect employed by our current administration: first a wealth tax, then a so-called "tax reform" that gets rid of loopholes for the wealthy, then a carbon tax, then a middle-class tax, then a poor tax (unless the poor make up 51% of the voting population, in which case they will never be explicitly taxed in a manner that is visible to them). What's left out of the discussion is the fact that even a 100% tax (total communism) would not be enough to fund the authoritarian ambitions of the current administration.
