what's shameful is that an American Senator is embarrassed to have industrialists in a government ;)

didn't say that specifically, but I believe he was referring to Siemens and Deutsche Bahn flying to Moskau recently to negotiate big new contracts with Putin - several other business representatives in Germany also favor less strict sanctions

even if he had been referring to crony capitalists: would that warrant kicking out industrialists per se from politics? if so start with kicking out all religions, all social group representatives, all ... have your pick from hundreds of lobbyists

It is Senator McCain who is shameful.  

He (and a few others) are responsible for one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation to be passed in decades.  He sponsored, and fought for, an amendment to the Defense Appropriations bill a few years ago that now makes it "legal" for the administration to use the military inside the United States to snatch up  an American citizen, without a warrant, and hold them incommunicado for up to 6 months, while investigating them for terrorrism!  Kiss off habeus corpus, kiss off probable cause, kiss off posse comitatus, kiss off the right to an attorney, kiss off the right to a speedy trial, kiss off the right to confront your accuser, etc., etc.  

McCain is one of the most disgusting excuses for a representative that I've seen in a long time.  When he ran against Obama it really was a case of chosing this evil or that evil.  A wanna-be dictator from the left vs a wanna-be dictator from the right.  It made it easier to vote Libertarian.
