Its hard to "think out loud on the spot" when you're not used to it.
Don't be afraid to prepare. Rehearse, even. When you read from Rand, read a little slower, then give us more of your own interpretations regarding what you just read. Its easier to relate to, and demonstrates your confidence.
If you think this is something you want to do a whole lot of (and I hope it is), think about investing in some better equipment. A better microphone, first thing. Podcast tutorials will really help you figure out the sound issues.
These YouTube "shows" can gain huge followings. UTNow was gigantic.
