Newberry’s work communicates emotion in representational painting through inventive composition, the power of light and color and palpable illusion of space. We present new field studies and select studio works. Melissa Hefferlin is proud to have apprenticed with Newberry in 1989-90.

I have exhibited throughout Europe but this will be my first major exhibition in America in many years. I am honored and terribly excited that the exhibition is hosted Akhriev Hefferlin Fine Art. The persons of Akhriev and Hefferlin are exceptionally good company.
The exhibition will consist of about 100 recent works, most painted within the last few months. Many are plein air oil paintings of land/waterscapes in Florida. There will be a smattering of portraits, nudes, pastels, and interiors. The price range will be from a few hundred bucks to $30,000.
In the coming days I will create a gallery of the exhibition on www.RomanticRealism.net. On or near the date of the exhibition I will post prices.
Hope to see you there and your feedback is welcomed.
