September 21, 2009 Government of Canada Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0J9 To Whom It May Concern: Please consider this my lifelong notice that I do not desire to have your institution's assistance in planning or providing for my health, retirement, education, and income needs. However, despite my frustrations, I will continue to use your institution’s services in these areas because, for the most part, they adequately meet my basic needs and approximate my desired outcomes. As well, a significant percentage of my resources are already used by your institution in providing for these needs and I do not have adequate reserves to entirely duplicate their provision. Please be advised though that I desire to plan and provide for these important aspects of my life, in their entirety, on my own and with the assistance of my family, my friends, and trusted professionals. I trust myself to be a responsible and rational individual who is capable of determining appropriate courses of action on these matters despite the limits of my knowledge and foresight. I know I am doing myself a disservice by not exercising or developing my abilities in these areas to the extent I might otherwise be able to. I thank you for your attention. Please attempt to understand my position and take it into consideration now and in the future. Sincerely, Tyson Russell | ||||
