I'm going to start a comic series without the comics, so I guess it's just a "series", whatever that means. It's not so much for the humor (it won't be funny like comic strips are) but for that familiar and fun way to carry a message, or many messages.
When I was young, my immediate family and relatives called me Little Eddie, to differentiate me from my father of the same name (I'm a "junior"). Dad was referred to as Big Ed and he still is to this day. Also, when I was young, I really enjoyed comic books and comic strips. Iron Man and Wolverine were my eventual favorites, though Fantastic Four, the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Justice League of America were probably what it was that got me hooked. In a sense, I consider my compatriots here at RoR to be a new justice league, more real than the books -- I guess that means I'm grown up on the outside.
