 | I had a few hours to spare a few weeks ago and came across this book at Borders, though I dropped it when I saw the authors name. I can't stand Tom Wolfe and his absurd writing, so this was not going to be the book for me.
Now I learn that I was very mistaken, that this book was written at a time when books still had a chance of being good and possibly even great.
Has anyone read this and what did you think of it. Let me know if there is an actual character, someone that is interesting and good. I really hope there is. |
