 | This is not a recent movie, though it is on cable right now. It is an action/suspense movie involving an experimental deep-water drilling rig facility that gets commandeered for a military rescue/salvage operation gone wrong. The main characters are experts forced to respond to a whole series of problems/disasters with knowledge, courage, and creativity. I have enjoyed it several times over. I have to add the caveat that the ending involves a combination of ET and The Day The Earth Stood Still factors that disappoint. |
