Evidently some irate students shouted loudly at the Daniel Pipes talk at UCLA on April 12 (yesterday) to the point that Fox News called the story "Not So Free Speech" though I have yet to see it on their Web site. Perhaps someone can post a link in the discussion thread for this news post if found. [Edit: I just updated this post with the link now in place.] One student banner labeled the talk as "hate speech" though why they do not label the Koran as the same eludes me. The story did mention LOGIC, the campus Objectivist club, and interviewed Daniel Pipes in the aftermath. I only saw the text on the screen as the cafeteria disables the volume on its wall televisions. | ||
