Net Neutrality Regulation Moving Forward Posted by Teresa Summerlee Isanhart on 10/23, 5:09pm
Republican Commissioner Robert McDowell said he remains unconvinced that broadband providers are engaging in widespread anticompetitive behavior that requires government intervention. "I do not share the majority's view that the Internet is showing breaks and cracks, nor do I believe that the government is the best tool to fix it," he said. My dear Mr. McDowell, don't you know that to imagine is to make real? Bet me this will turn into is price control regulations on bandwidth, much like the price control regulations are now aimed at health insurance providers. Comcast, AT&T et al are just too big to fail, you know. Better that the government nationalize Internet gateways. Just like China does.
