| The current talk of state opt-outs is starting to remind me of the decades leading up to the Civil War. Here's another case in point. When conservatives and libertarians (including Rand) wanted the US to say out of WW2, their hope was that Germany and the USSR would weaken each other to the point where a small mopup operation would be enough to get rid of them both. Let's hope that the states and the feds will do just this. | ||
