| In keeping with recent discussion, here is a nice article by Stossel that defends Rand Paul's views on the right to discriminate. Stossel makes the point that it was government intervention in the form of the Jim Crow laws and the vigilante KKK that was primarily responsible for the evils of racial segregation and discrimination in the old South and that private action would fight racial bigotry through economic boycotts and peaceful demonstrations. Stossel notes that there are people who want him fired from Fox News for his views on this issue. | ||
