| President Obama's solicitor general, defending the national health care law on Wednesday, told a federal appeals court that Americans who didn't like the individual mandate could always avoid it by choosing to earn less money. Sure ... one can always become a hermit and avoid all government intrusions on one's liberty. (But I guess they could put you in jail for not filling out a census return.) I thought that one had a right to earn a living in this country. This is just so daffy on so many levels that it's difficult to understand how these guys are able to tie their own shoe laces.
