| Interesting interview with Jon Polito. Check out this bit near the end : TheCelebrityCafe.com: Earlier in the year you acted in Atlas Shrugged. Are you a fan of the novel? Jon Polito: Well, actually, I am not because it politically stands for everything I don’t. I think she [Ayn Rand] is an amazing writer. I really always believed The Fountainhead was much more my style because it was a man bucking the establishment to stick to his art but Atlas Shrugged, I would say, no, not a fan of the book, not a fan of the heart behind it. But you have to give credit to the brilliance of the writing. TheCelebrityCafe.com: Does that pose a challenge then, acting in something where you don’t agree with the philosophy? Jon Polito: No, not at all. I don’t agree with the gangster philosophy. I don’t agree with killing people and I never agreed with Silvio on Seinfeld, either, but I got to play him. | ||
