American Politicians Should Learn Some Policy Lessons from Hong Kong and Singapore Posted by Ed Thompson on 1/04, 11:09pm
Mr. Mitchell is awesome. Key points are that top income tax rates in Singapore and Hong Kong are 20% or below; there is no double taxation (interest, dividends, capital gains, inheritance) like we have in the U.S.; government spending is 20% or less of GDP; and growth is better than in the U.S. -- which is to be expected.
