Jobs, Jobs, Jobs... again. Who else has lost count? Posted by Fred Bartlett on 7/25, 12:59pm
Good News! POTUS Obama, who came into office in 2008 in the middle of a national recession 1646 days ago, has freshly told the nation that he will now focus on jobs, jobs, jobs for the next 1276 days. It just takes a while to realize that the problem with unemployment is not enough jobs. That is, when we are not being insulted by being asked to forget that he has made this same roll up his sleeves and really get down to business speech every six months for the last five years plus. This basketweaving political social scientist knows no more about creating jobs and running the economies(especially the answer to the question 'Should he be?') than he does about running a nuclear power plant. Let's all be surprised when his plan to create new jobs involves handing over yet more of the nations wealth to him and his disconnected cronies to hand out as political favors. I'm sorry, I meant to say "investments." Alas, if only the GOP would be even more inneffective in appearing to slow this pig down, then he and his could finally fix The Economy. In the meantime, we will just have to settle for twits smirking on MSNBC as our evidence that these lightweights really are the Masters of the Economic Universe and really do have the first f'n clue about any of things they forever claim their going to fix on our behalf.
