While not explicitly Objectivist (Unfortunately, her line of work brings her into conflict with Objectivism by having to work with the financial structure of a mixed economy), Suze Orman is a promoter of capitalism by popularizing individual fiscal responsibility ( "Do you know your FICO score?). She functions as a financial self-help guru, often putting emphasis on the person's ideas and beliefs and self-view in relation to their financial situation, which mirrors Rand's emphasis on integration in one's business and personal life. And Orman does not promote self-sacrifice; though her tagline is "People first, then money, then things", she will not hesitate (rarely does she pull punches!) to chastise a caller for altruistic behavior when one cannot pay their own bills.
