1.5 million people showed up for the 9/12 Project march in Washington today. Speakers set up just outside the Capitol steps were sponsored by Freedom Works. Fox News covered, and broadcast the entire thing, and I ended up watching two hours of the protest over Fox's live news feed. Toward the very end, Yaron Brook made an appearance and spoke for two minutes to the massive crowd before being forced off the stage by loud "cue" music. I'm not sure who was more disappointed, Brook or myself, but Glen Beck made up for the rude cut off by giving Brook more time on his special television broadcast at the end of the scheduled event. Beck has been very generous toward Rand and Objectivism, and I'm sure my gratitude isn't the only offering he's received. ABC wouldn't be caught dead discussing the principles of liberty like this. | ||||
