I'm curious, Brett, how would you respond if you read a post in which Boris Vallejo began criticizing your enjoyment of Michael Newberry's work by saying, "I see you're on a campaign to raise clumsy anatomy and amateurish color modulation to the level of great art"? Would it seem less snotty if he defended his statement with examples of what he thought were serious flaws in Michael's paintings -- flaws which you hadn't the ability to recognize before? Would you express your gratitude if he pointed out that your appraisals of Michael's art come from a very limited set of tools? Or would you have the same impression of him that Joe has of Michael?
