That racist propaganda is widely tolerated among America's "Conservatives" and "Liberals" is scandal enough. That it is spread by the magazine of an "Objectivist" organization is beyond scandal. It is treason.

Adam, thanks for your commentary defending open borders and questioning the purpose of the Navigator's hanging observations.

The problem with immigration is clearly another tragic consequence of the welfare state. Get rid of give-away programs and the spectacle--real or imagined--of immigrants lining up to devour the unearned vanishes.

I don't think closing the border to "terrorists" differs from attempting to shut out unconvicted criminals. Get rid of US non-defensive military bases in 100 countries around the globe and terrorists will direct their malevolence elsewhere.

For some years now, I have had a plank in my political platform calling for the unification of Mexico and the United States. The southern border of Mexico would be easier to defend than is the southern border of Texas. A possible name for the new country would be the Federated States of America. Meanwhile, I hope we will work with President Fox to maximize the free flow of labor and property titles between our two countries.


What's wrong with the name United States of America?

That's not a criticism of Stephen's position (is there a link to his platform?) but a serious question. Mexico can be admitted to the Union.
