I saw this last night and had the exact same disappointment.

Aside from that, I was bored by the scorpion and medusa battles. I missed that bright golden adventurous music and color scheme.

This one seemed to be built around the popularity of God of War game series. If they ever make God of War a movie, I hope it follows through with the defiance theme.

Thanks, Doug. And I didn't think about it, but you're right; they should have just made it the GOD OF WAR movie.

And I love the original sountrack.

I watched the original almost a week ago and still have its music running through my head. Still not sick of it!
