| | As a kid my parents always allowed me the freedom to read and believe what I wanted. I think my mom realized I was a bit different in that at a very early age I excelled academically. I learned later that according to tests by the time I was 12 I had a written and spoken volcabulary of a second year university student.
Even though I was brought up in the united church I rebelled against it and although she would shake her head she never condemned me for it.
Years later she had a conversation with my wife that went in an introspective fashion. She told my wife " you know jules is the only one throughout the years that never ever asked anything of us.."
I'm very fortunate that I grew up in a positive environment with loving parents that only ever wanted me to succeed in life to the best of my ability and that I live a good moral life with or without a god to guide my way.
I too am ordering the actual book I'm looking forward to a great read good job Joe! (Edited by Jules Troy on 12/19, 5:27pm)
