Great article!
I agree with everything you said.
I believe that as an investor if one were to do his research into companies that hold these values it would be of great benefit to help minimize risk when looking for long term investment opportunities as well.

Gee it would have been nice to see the books I have produced on this topic at least mentioned in the bibliography. Commerce and Morality (1988), The Business of Commerce (w/Chesher, 1999), A Primer on Business Ethics (w/Chesher, 2003), Business Ethics in the Global Market (ed., 1999), The Morality of Business (2007), and numerous papers. They are all in the tradition of virtue ethics!!! Is this evasion deliberate?
