Merlin is right, that is a very strange understanding of Aristotle's ethics.  I can't find anything to support that.  Do you have anything other than those two words which no one else seems to have used to supplant whole chapers of words to the contrary?

Well, gee, I think it's great that Steve would come in and referee!

 

My reference to Aristotle, in any case, was a passing example of  someone--anyone-- who couted in feelings as part of an ethical system.

 

So for the sake of argument, let's assume you're correct: Aristotle wrote that ethics, lacking feeling, would ethically justify mushing up puppies to make an energy drink.

 

Now although this might be discussed as an understanding of Nichomacius, it still evades the issue that raised:

which, in terms of Rand, is more ethical--making money off of puppy juice or feeding the homeless?
