| | My mother loves watching "Coronation Street" that is imported from the BBC and aired on CBC. What angers me about the government CBC and the Government here in Canada that steals from me to fund it is how THEY over stepped in another way. Years ago I owned an American satellite. The Canadian government banned them because they did not offer "Canadian content". One day all my signals simply went dead. Signals that I was paying for HAPPILY!!!!
At every opportunity as it comes up to be voted on I write my member of parliament demanding the privatization of the CBC. Other than hockey and Olympic coverage there is really nothing I would pay to watch on it and detest its existence.
As a side note of course I also was not reimbursed for the cost of my satellite system that the government decided for me was not in my best interests to own. As€hol#s...
