What genres of art, poetry and music (especially poetry) appeal to you Objectivists, by name. What artists over the centuries do y'all think exemplify your ideals? Which don't?

I like film composer James Horner despite some objections from Objectivists that "the man is a hack."

Maurice Jarre was another good composer [he died this past March], as was Dimitri Tiomkin... never thought of Horner as a hack, unlike Barry, who seemed to have gotten stuck in his 'Born Free' and never got out...

I'm curious: is this a research project, term paper or what have you that you're working on?  My favorite artist is Bach.  Never had the patience for poetry, though Shakespeare, Aeschylus or Sophocles are inspiring in small doses.
