I think its unreasonable to expect that things you put on the internet will be forever private -- Unless you are encrypting it and trust the recipients. The dissent area may have restricted public readability, but it is very easy to circumvent. It is a way to block search engines, but it is not private, and your privacy is not expected to be protected.
