I guess your point here is again that accepting peternalism as good has corrupted our media and societies ability to even distinguish between good and bad anymore?  Due to all of the conflicts that arise in paternalism versus individual rights/capitalism?

 

Then the good guys versus bad guys movies of the past don't exist anymore for two reasons:

1. The majority of movie goers are actually "bad" buys, who want to steal from the rich to give to themselves...  so that is what sells

2. When there actually is a movie that has a bad guy that does want to do something "bad" like blow up the white house or a city or something... due to Paternalism, the "good" guys are actually not pure good guys, and from the "bad" guy's perspective, his actions may be justified to some extent (but not to the extent that he goes: blowing up an entire city is overkill).

Re: Drug war confinscations:  And this is a case of manipulators taking advantage of the paternalism conflict with capitalism.
