Works for me!  I've done it more than once.  The last time was at the Peoples Food Coop in Ann Arbor about two months ago -- and it's a small store, but she disappeared.  All I had to do was strike up a conversation with a woman and bingo! there she was.

(And Objectivists say there is no proof of ESP.)

This is similar but true.

One of the tricks I learned when working on motion picture production in Brazil was how to keep tabs on actresses on new locations. Usually with the long waits while the crew was setting up lights, scenery, camera, etc., people would wander about all over the place.

I was the guy who had to round the cast up to shoot. For women, all I had to do was show up early and remove all the mirrors except one. Then I had no problem locating all of them between takes.

Worked every time. (Sometimes for men too.)

To be honest - that is the worst joke I have heard in a long time. Unfortunately I must admit however that it probably works.
