I read a variant of this years ago with the gender roles reversed, i.e., upgrading Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0. I am glad to see someone wrote a complementary version to give women some laughs, too.
After you uninstall Husband 1.0, perhaps you should test drive the light weight Palm OS version called Vibrator 5.1.
>A battery-operated boyfriend is interchangeable with a husband? Guess I'm not missin' much afterall ;o)"
Hang on, we are talking about a Setzer (TM) suggestion here. How do you know the thing runs on batteries? Knowing technophiles like Luke, you'd probably find he is envisioning a version that runs on Av-gas for that extra horse-power...
You can never assume anything about the quiet ones :-)

Avgas!?!? Even 130 octane wouldn't cut it! I'm thinkin' fusion reactor. This way I could run a few other appliances as well (blow dryer, curling iron, et cetera).

You know, I've heard that woman can multi-task but hells-bells! Still it might be the only way to actually make ironing something to look forward too...
I just know I'm going to get sent to hell for creating that mental image :-)
Back in the mid-80s I tried the Husband 1.0 program. It was a bad beta version and crashed constantly. I was very disappointed and pretty much gave up on trying to find one 100% capable with my own programming.
My current version of Boyfriend has been a dream come true and I get an automatic upgrade to Husband 2.0 in spring. Version 2.0 is truly amazing and more than I ever dreamed it could be. In addition, the Husband 2.0 programming appears very stable, customized just for me and needs no tweaking whatsoever. No batteries are required and it runs on nookie. purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Kat, based on his uploads to SOLO, it sounds like Husband 2.0 has undergone rigorous testing within various international operating systems and has been thoroughly de-bugged despite early crashes, spyware and viruses. Perhaps this makes SOLO the eBay of love.
What has Microsoft done that you dislike? Oh? They made an excellent product which people chose to use by their own free will, and even pay hard worked money for?
Boo to people who boo at people who make great things.
Ok, maybe Microsoft has done some things that I do not sanction. What are you booing at?
