Wolfgang - according to my records, we had a subscription from you on Dec 22. I don't process the subscriptions, but I should imagine the new issue is on its way to you as we speak. I've asked the relevant people to investigate, though.

Wolfgang - I'm sorry to hear that your subscription hasn't been processed; I'm the guy who developed the system we're currently using. The fact that Linz received the email means that it's probably still awaiting processing. I'll follow it up and ensure that your susbscription is processed ASAP.

By the way, the latest issue is absolutely BRILLIANT - I'm only part of the way through, but it's definitely the best Free Rad yet, with a very strong emphasis on philosophy & Objectivism. Rest assured, it's worth the wait!

I'm enjoying the latest Free Radical tremendously. It is really a magnificent edition and quite a wake-up call.

The tributes to Ayn Rand are very touching and I couldn't help but relive the memories of my first experiences of her mind-opening and life-affirming philosophy. This is life as it should be! The passion and intelligence in these articles do her memory proud.

The Free Radical is going from strength to strength and I can heartily recommend this magazine to any self-respecting free-thinker. Great job Linz!

The new Free Radical arrived a few days ago as I lay here felled by a few health problems. What a great companion it has been! I also have learned to appreciate it even more by having had more time to devour it.
The cover is wonderful. All those pictures of Ayn Rand, and yet the eyes from all those different facial moods are the same! It makes you realize how "beautiful" she was in a sense. You can never resist those eyes.
I had read Barbara's guest editorial but had failed to appreciate it as fully as I should have at the time. The power of Barbara Branden's writing comes directly from her powerful sense of life. To hear her tell of different passages that inspired her is to relive the thrill of reading them for the time. This article is poetic and it left me with a chill as I came to its conclusion.
Lindsay's four articles perfectly set up the reader. They would take the hand of someone who was unfamiliar with Ayn Rand and lead them into her world, and yet for those of us who have lived with her forever, they are still fascinating. I was struck by how much work a good editor does to have a successful product like this. Lindsay's commitment, passion and sheer intelligence shines through these articles and throughout the entire structure of this special edition.
I could turn this post into a magazine by itself which is not my goal, but I do want to say that the contributions by others re: Ayn are beautiful and I was proud to be included in this group of remarkable people. (Note to Chris Sciabarra: I am inspired to pursue Miklos Rozsa's music by this beautiful article. Thank you).
It all comes down to the fact that if you are reading my words here and you haven't subscribed, what the hell are you waiting for? This magazine is written for you. It needs to be supported for one thing, but much more importantly, it is your rich dessert after a day of cottage cheese and carrot sticks: YOU DESERVE IT!
