This cracked me up:
There was some important people on the faculty who didn’t view him as a particularly strong candidate to ever have a position on the faculty – that they didn’t think he was the type of guy who would be able to do serious work.
Everyone knows Obama is a small minded, walled off, card carrying Marxist ideologue, so of course he can't do "serious" work!
But you just know Obama's apologists will say Lott is lying.
Lott still sounds bewildered over Obama's unfriendliness, and that's sad to me. He's used to dealing with serious academics, not ambitious, power grubbing demagogues.
