Dean's solution worked for me (or else I wouldn't be able to post this).

Thanks.

Ed

Fine here.  The site required that I sign in yesterday at home, very unusual, but no problems.

Looks like the people who maintain the RoR server did an update without notifying me. Heh, I'm probably not on their notify list. Anyways, I was correct, they updated the hash algorithm that the database uses, so now all of the old passwords don't match up. In a few minutes I'll make it accept both the old hash algorithm and the new one... so that people can still log in with their old stored hash of passwords.

Update: Everyone should now be able to log in again, the server will now accept old hashes of passwords. Please email me if this didn't work for you.

If you log out then log back in (if you haven't already in the last 3 days 3 hours 17 min 10 sec), then your password will be stored a little more securely! (Wooptie doo)

Do programmers smoke hash?

Just kidding.

Thanks for all your hard work, Dean.

I also just fixed the RoR mail to remove the Safari warning and make it load a little faster. Please let me know if it works for you. (You will probably have to have your browser delete all of your "browsing file cache" in order to see the update.
