| | Still, it provides an opportunity to giggle;
"Cash withdrawals from banks have been limited to €300 (£253) a day, while only €1,000 in cash can be taken out of the country, and there are restrictions on the use of credit cards abroad. Cypriot authorities loosened some restrictions on using cheques on Friday – but only to allow payments to government agencies of up to €5,000."
Of course; some exceptions are to be expected when there is a crisis like this. I mean, imagine the good we could continue to do, as long as fraternities with guns are fully funded?
In our future, the primary function of money will be to pay our taxes to parasitical officious paternalistic megalomaniacs running a CronyFest and building million dollar imperial bus kiosks in Arlington, VA that don't actually protect folks from the wind or rain while waiting for the bus, but are beautiful works of art; a bureaucrat needs inspiration, after all, on the way to Running The Economy.
Where's that meteor?
And as they look around for who to blame, they put Germany and Estonia at the top of the list...because they aren't adding enough gasoline to the self-immolation bonfire burning in Europe...and America...and the entire world.
Cypriot history no doubt has something to do with the mild reaction; they've seen worse. Perhaps we will need to refer to them as the Cyprinonriots.
