About one year ago the day and time was 3/14/15 9:26:53. That matches the first 10 digits of pi.

This has got to be the biggest event since corduroy day a few years ago: 11|11|11. It, too, won't happen again in the 21st century.

I missed it this year. I posted on my blog about it over several years. This would have been a good one, also because 3-14-16 is closer to pi than was last year's 3-14-15.

Last year, we had skywriters here in Austin putting up "pi in the sky."
