It would be nice to have the people you agree with be consistent. You have to take people pretty much as you find them. So, Heather Berlin said that you cannot trust your own experience and that is why we have the scientific method as the only path to objective truth. Well, you can trust your own experience, of course. It is the basis of the scientific method. But, she was speaking a shorthand, maybe. We can give her that.  As for the bad guys, it depends on what you mean when you (they) say that consciousness exists "outside" the body. The human body is not enveloped in skin like hamburger in plastic wrap. It used to be that in order to get an EEG, they had to put needles under your scalp. Now they don't. If your brain - or heart for EKG - can move the pens on a chart, of course the consciousness extends beyond the body.  But Chopra and the others just take that fact and misuse it.
