What a lovely girl.  Good luck to her.

I know one of Amber's friends. Her friend is named Raquel, and I took an acting class with her in 2005. If Amber is anything like Raquel, she is truly lovely. Raquel recently moved to LA, too. I hated seeing her go, but also want to see all my classmates make it big.

I found what appears to be an old resume and head shots:

For your amusement and enjoyment, Amber Heard is on the cover of Maxim this month:

The interview is also quite good.

I highly doubt Ms. Heard had my enjoyment and amusement specifically in mind. Are you calling her an altruist?

;D

Tom Cruise is a Scientologist.  Martin Sheen is Catholic.
What can be said for the minds of people whose ideas are made or changed by movie stars?

I am happy for Ms. Heard's self-sufficiency and there is no doubt that she will personally profit from the ideas of Ayn Rand, though I wonder how long this phase will last.

The CW Channel features these culture-shifting investigations of basic philosophical premises:

Friday Night Smackdown
Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl Encore
America's Next Top Model
Pussycat Dolls Present Girlicious

...  almost makes me wish that we had television in the house, I mean, all those girlicious pussycats and all, heck, who doesn't like girls?

... but then, if we had broadcast or cable or satellite, I'd have to sit and watch it ... and next thing you know, the pussycats would be over and the smackdown would begin and what kind of person would that make me?

And, are "girls" the same as "women"?  Aren't "girls" -- being underage -- off limits, 15 will get you 20 and all that...

Would it not be more appropropriate to ogle the womynicious wymyn of Caltech?
Maybe watch America's Next Nobel Prize Winner go topless at Cannes?
Oh, be my laptop...

Friday Night Smackdown:
Hegel versus Marcus Aurelius... like Monty Python's soccer match or something...
