| | Thanks, Luke! I don't write much fiction and this was, as you say, a "flash."
I wrote it in 2006 for the October issue of "Blood Orange" the student literary magazine of my community college where I was getting an associate's in criminal justice while working in campus safety. They did not accept it, and I let it languish. I posted it here as well as on MSK's OL and my own blog all for Halloween.
