I've heard some not unflattering things about him. I assume he's more religious than Giuliani. What are T. Thompson's strong points for an Objectivist?

Ted,

That's an excellent question. I don't know who my second choice would be after Ron Paul.

I'm more focused on what I want. If you don't vote for what you want, you aren't going to get it.

I just found some stuff regarding Giuliani and his anti-gun agenda. In some respects, he will have trouble getting the nomination based on this alone:

The thing with Giuliani is that I assume his anti-gun stance will be about as important as Reagan's anti-abortion stance.  It may make his getting the nomination in some states harder.  But he's also admired for not pandering.

As for Ron Paul, if he's religious and anti-immigration, what's so much better about him than Giuliani?

And who voted for McCain?

I also just read that Giuliani was also the prosecutor who went after Michael Milken. He was a US attorney at the time. I wonder what kind of other non-criminals Giuliani will go after if he's President.

Yes, Chris, you are correct.  There is a question as to whether he was pursuing his own policy or that of his superiors.  This and his RICO prosecutions was one of the reasons I did not vote for him for mayor.  Yet I still expect to vote for him for president as of now.

It almost looked like Giuliani paid Paul off for that 9-11 set-up in the second debate.

Fred Thompson all the way. I honestly think that he is the very best candidate in the Republican field (even though he hasn't formally announced yet).
