Donations to charities will inevitably go down because of the economy, independent of the change in tax exemption, but the tax exemption change will make it even worse. Obama's agenda is for that to happen because he can then make a case for increased taxes and government involvement, not to help the charities but to transfer the function the government. He's out to make the populace dependent, folks.
How perverse is that? Why can't the Obama pumpers see that? He wants to eradicate individual benevolence and transfer it to faceless entitlements ... but everybody will smile and thank the BO SOB.
From now on it's every man for himself.
