| | Then here's the thing: if those are the choices that are available, take a good hard look at the society surrounding you that made said choices possible, and ask yourself if there really will likely be improvement anytime soon.
Take note that a big mentality for the past 8 years was "anybody but Bush". Well that mentality brought the Democrats John Kerry( the ultimate flip-flopper)....who lost. Following that, the Republicans then wound up with McCain who couldn't even beat Bush in the 2000 primaries( as in, the guy who couldn't even beat the dude who helped hold up the voting process for weeks after Election Day), who then lost to the "affirmative action" candidate with zero experience who was likely more suited to be a Milan runway model. And NOW they're saying "anybody but the Democrats"..which seems to be netting us less than stellar results as well.
If the problems are as "serious" as everyone says they are, ya never say "anybody but....". In fact, since people have brought up the example of the candidates for a store job before, when a former cashier starts mouthing off to customers, do the managers say "anybody but..."? Well, if they want to waste company money and get hurt by likely making poor choices than they likely would, but it's also how they probably got that kid in the first place. No...ya take a good hard look at how ya got that candidate in the first place, and you don't make those mistakes again.
Even Dr. Hurd has commented on this before:
