| | That's a nice turn of phrase, Fred.
I also liked this, "There was once a world struggle for global dominance of two distinctly incompatible ideas. In round one, the free world, led by a free America, won the battle. At the end of round one, that same America suffered from the Western disease, which is, forever ending conflict before the conflict is actually over. Like, taking only half the prescribed dose of antibiotics."
Some Americans mistake PC as a value, some dislike conflict, some are frightened of conflict, and some don't see the need for conflict any more. And some people react to their fear with knee-jerk denial, appeasement or avoidance. Lots of reasons that they stop taking the antibiotics, but unfortunately, only one result.
