Thanks a lot for posting this, Eric!

This one was a lot of fun to work on, though I admit its tone is more my sense of humor than Galts.

I for one appreciated the touch of humor, but I'd go easy on it, like mustard, you know...

Going back, I had some problems with Number 11.  I thought that the over-use of the German movie (this was Schindler's List?  I never saw that) was distracting.  Also in the end, it seemed that Galt was of the Nazis forcing the choice.  There are more enemies in the world than just them, they being gone and all, you know.  (Maybe you read about it; it was in all the papers.)  I thought it was strongly done in the earlier videos, tying Hitler to Altruism, that was on-target, but as a target, well, those guys are just too large and distracting from other targets closer to here and now.

Anyway, the overall effort is to be highly commended.  I can only imagine how much work is invested in any one of these.

Thanks for the thoughts- I think the reason I return to the Nazis to demonstrate certain evils is because they are defeated and historical. The few times I've used more recent, specific villains (like my use of the Clintons in Part 8) it ended up feeling dated very fast- Hillary seemed a much more inevitable Socialist menace in November than she does now. I doubt if Hitler will lose his potency as an image soon.

The movie is "Sophie's Choice" - and I do still think it's the best demonstration of what Galt describes- putting someone's mind into an impossible dilemma through the use of the gun. A "Sophie's Choice" is almost a bromide.

When I do the final edit of the whole speech I'll look and see whether it's too much of one thing- haven't watched them all back to back in a long time. If so, I'll lose some of the Nazis and find something else- input is much appreciated.

Anybody else feel the same way?
